SweepDrive

The Overtone Works SweepDrive is a unique in the concept of overdrive pedals. Play with an enhanced range of expression that an amplifier alone cannot achieve. It allows the guitarist to reach levels of distortion effects on a sloping scale, while the output level remains balanced and the equalization compensated. SweepDrive provides a three-loop routing circuit for integration with other effect pedals and multi-amp rigging. This gives the performer the ability to send the signal to different amplifiers for clean, overdrive, and lead, as well as auto-engage other effects pedals in the heel, middle, and toe ranges. Overdrive harmonic content is variable over a wide range with the symmetry control feature, enhancing multi-character ability.

The amplifiers volume will remain  balanced to output performance level needs as you smoothly transition between any desired amount of overdrive tone .

Partner Pedal Routing

External partner pedals can be connected to its loop insert jacks .  3 Dedicated loop positions are in the full heel, sweep {between heel and toe), and full toe locations. This allows the partner pedal or pedals to be included or excluded as the positions of the SweepDrive change.

Variable Overdrive Symmetry

Overdrive waveforms contain an abundance of added harmonics. The content changes when the waveform symmetry changes. Symmetrical waveform has a fatter bass tone and  A-Symmetry has more of a "Throaty midrange" tone .
